I have a lifelong friend who is constantly remarking on the joy she finds in the ordinary things around us; from birds to sunsets to contrails. She lives a more enriched life because she notices, and gets excited over, the ordinary things. And in sharing her joy, she invites those she is with to get excited and live also.
