Imagine if you could pull off onto a scenic overlook of you life’s path. As you look at the winding route, and the hills that seemed like mountains at the time, would you thank God for guiding you on that journey? For getting you to this point in your life, even if it wasn’t the path you would have chosen for yourself?

What if the path you see is your future? Surely you have figured out all the big stuff by now-career, relationships, family… Maybe you thought all that is left is graduations, empty nest, retirement, grandkids… How complicated could that be? Granted, your health is a bit of a wild card. But all those twists and turns can’t possibly be health related!?! Can you put your life in God’s hands and let Him lead you on whatever path He chooses? Can you embrace the journey, knowing that you are following God’s plan?

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.” – Jeremiah 29:11-12

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6
