Truth and Action

How do we love in truth and action? We can start by considering where in our lives we love without strings or expectations. Where do we act in love because love is in us and we want to spread it, share it, grow its presence in the world? Where do we commit ourselves to reflecting the love we experience in following Christ? If we decide to, we can choose to be part of Christ’s love that grows deep and wide in our souls. And we don’t have to wait, we can act in that truth right here and right now.

The picture at the top of this piece came from an opportunity I had recently to watch the sunrise. It took my breath away. What a gift to notice the beginning of a new day, a new opportunity to spread the kind of love that points beyond words to truth and action.

Prayer: Dear God, Please help me accept your invitation to love actively and truthfully in Jesus Name, Amen
