When we first began this project – I had a conversation with someone who looked for a moment at the image here – and said “Healing. Healing is what’s in the middle of the circle.”

As this young woman has had reasons to pray for healing in her own life – her comment opened up the idea for me – and I’ve been thinking about it ever since.

Creativity helps us to see possibilities for change – for different outcomes than we might first imagine.  Creativity makes room for us to see where healing might come into whatever we are struggling with. Spirituality points us to the source of transformation. The God who cares for us, nurtures us, wants good for us. And justice reminds us that we are more together than we are apart.  It gets us out of an individualistic world view – which is in and of itself – healing.

In this blog – we’ll be looking at creativity, spirituality and justice – with the hope that we can open up the possibility for healing for ourselves, each other and the world that God created and continues to love.
