connect.faith - season twoa new day
“A New Day” | Season 2 | connect.faith
Back in February, we were able to come together to film the second season of connect.faith. We brought together all sorts of people to continue to explore the intersection of creativity, spirituality and justice–and we can’t wait for you to see it.
This is the first episode of our second season in which we explore the theme, “A New Day.” With the children, Bryan talks about how with every bad day there is a promise of a new day dawning, Pastor Debbie reminds us that on Easter Morning we see the ultimate promise of a new day in the story of the resurrection, and Tabreeca joins Ike Sturm and Evan Closser to share a powerful and moving song, “I Can See Clearly Now”.
In these difficult times – we are thankful for this community and the connections that reach beyond being in the same place. Now, more than ever, we need to believe in the promise of a new day, the hope that despite all evidence to the contrary, there is a new day dawning.
